Esther's Fun Gossip Session With Biggie

Today in the diary room, Esther thoroughly enjoyed her diary session with Biggie as she let out some secrets of her own along with her suspicions over the relations of some of the housemates. The ever so giggling Esther told Biggie that she was happy and confident about winning the wager.

Big Brother asked her for her comment about relationships in the house. She quickly let loose about the known couple, Nhlanhla and Sheillah, and said that nothing much had happened between them to confirm their relationship but that there was clearly something going on. She also told Biggie about her suspicions about something brewing between Laveda and Permithias and that she also felt there was something between Permithias and Sabina. She also said that Permithias had said he liked light-skinned girls and assumed that things were likely to develop between Permithias and Sabina but didn’t mind who the singer got on with because she liked both girls.

Biggie was keen on finding out more about relationship dynamics in the house and asked Esther if there was anyone she was interested in. The Ugandan lass blushed and told Biggie that she couldn’t say much on that topic as there was somebody outside of the house that she was interested in and thought would hit things off with.

We wonder who Esther may be eyeing in the house because she told Biggie that there was somebody that she was still looking at and assessing although she did not think she wanted to get into anything with anyone.

The session ended on a high note as Esther offered Biggie a little dance in the baggy pants she wore which she loved. Biggie welcomed this and after the performance Esther left, leaving us still wondering who she was falling for in the house. Who do you think this could be?

Diary Sessions: Ready and Set For Tonight!

The mood in the house is very positive amongst the housemates with regards to their performances tonight. The feeling is mutual that they will win the wager. Biggie has offered the housemates props to work with and it will be exciting to see what the housemates put together.

In the diary room today, housemates assured Biggie that the show will be a great success.

Sipe said that her performance was all over the place but promised to be ready in the evening.

Luis conveyed mixed emotions as he stated that the competition was getting tougher, especially with bringing something creative to the table.

Frankie describes the mood in the house to be jovial as housemates continue to get to know each other.

Nhlanhla told Big Brother that they only need a proper format and a single run of the show in order to see what needs changing. He also pointed out that some housemates are getting tense as they are trying to establish their relevance in the house. He promised Biggie a good show and twirking from Lillian.

JJ shared that he loved Esther's energy and said that above everything, he wished housemates would get a general understanding of how to work with each other. He expressed gratitude for Clint Brink in the morning session who reminded them to respect each other.

Butterphly told Biggie that she appreciates today and that everyday has been different. She finds everyone to be so creative.

Resa said that she’s been feeling gloomy since the morning session. She also shared that it has been quite challenging to get everyone to work together but believes that they will win the wager.

Trezagah was happy to tell Biggie that he is working and coping with the language barrier and is also looking forward to tonight.

Mr. 265 started the day on a low because he didn't get enough sleep.

Macky2 was all positive, along with Alusa who always offers Biggie a good dose of energy.

Lillian told Biggie than she loved twirking and squeaked out that the housemates would win the wager.

Special Moments, Talent and A Prank Gone Wrong

As the housemates cracked on with their talent posters and performance pieces Big Brother summoned each into the Diary Room for a quick chit-chat on day 2. The creative process is often a demanding one and some time out with Biggie always came in handy.

The housemates were like little Energizer bunnies and those with similar talents and interests gravitated towards each other. This clearly peaked Biggie's interest as it was a trending topic in the Diary Room. He wanted to know what kind of bonds were brewing and between whom.

But Biggie required housemates to work as hard as they played in their various tasks. Having wagered 100% of their allowance they needed to match the stakes and get down to business. Confidence reigned as housemates believed in their efforts so far even though some thought the 100% was terribly ambitious for a first-time wager.

First in for some alone time with Biggie was Idris and he was just the guy. He confessed that he's noticed the growing chemistry between Nhlanhla and Sheillah. He was also moved by Kacey's breakdown and reckoned he could be strong for his fellow housemate. While Idris sympathised with Kacey, he was far from impressed with Esther's antics and felt she added little value.

When it was Kacey Moore's turn, the soft-centred musician couldn’t hold back the waterworks. So touched was he by his fellow housemates stories' he could barely get anything out. Biggie suspected there was more to it and looked forward to some candid chats with Kacey in the future.

With the rumour mill running about Nhlanhla and Sheillah's friendship, Biggie had some questions for what some housemates had started calling "the couple of the house". Sheillah beamed as she told Biggie that not only did they share a bed but he'd called her his wife. During his diary session Nhlanhla admitted to a special connection with Sheillah.

He also, however, spoke fondly of Mira and said he was happy to get to know them both.

Is it us or did something look uncannily like a love triangle on the horizon?

On the subject of friendships, or lack of friendliness, most housemates weighed in on the prank that Permithias pulled on Lilian and the friction that ensued. Many found the prank to be in bad taste.

In her diary session a stricken-voiced Lilian expressed that she took offence when Perimithias held what seemed to be a used condom out at her, suggesting that it belonged to her. As she squeaked through her session, having lost her voice after last night's festivities, she revealed that she had confronted Permithias and he had apologised.

She also promised Biggie a spectacular performance for the performance task, a piece in which she would twerk her heart out!

Permithias thought his prank would be all in good fun but admitted he failed to consider a few crucial areas and didn’t plan to offend Lilian. For the task he was worried about his voice but his piece was coming along like a dream.

Sipe, Alusa, Sabina  and Resa walked into the Diary Room with a little something extra. Sipe sent a bag of shout-outs to her family and friends back home while Alusa launched into the Diary Room with huge bouts of energy and brought the session to life with his larger-than-life infectious laugh.

When she stepped into the Diary Room funny lady Sabina had to first stop and admire the décor before reporting that she reckoned it was a little too early for all the crying and breaking down. She wondered if it wasn’t all part of a strategy.

Resa spoke of herself in the third person through her session, confessing that she was slightly perturbed by all the yelling and screaming while she and others tried to get some shut-eye. We most certainly look forward to the showcase of her royal talents.

The sentiment was telling; the housemates, while nervous about their wager, were already putting a 100% in to get 100% out.

Diary Sessions: They Want Africa To Love Them

In the last set of their diary sessions with Biggie, housemates share what they would love Africa to appreciate most about them. M'am Bea clearly told Biggie that she wants to make sure that Africa appreciates and celebrates her as a woman with style.

Trezagah told Biggie that he believes that he is a good rapper and felt the crowd loved him yesterday. His wish is that Africa does not miss the feel of his music even though they may have no comprehension of the language he raps in which is his language, Portuguese. Kacey Moore told Biggie that he was disappointed with the score that he received but that he plans to show more of his diverse talents. He said that he will do more than just singing and hopes that Africa will love him for it.

Samantha said that she was not unhappy with her score as she reckons she didn’t do badly. She expressed her keenness to work with everyone in the house and be able to accommodate and work with the diverse personalities. Idris, feeling great about being in the house and his performance last night, admitted to not having a strategy but hoped that Africa would fall in love with him as the show progressed.

Goitse is not entirely happy with her performance and feels that she could have done better. Despite this, she believes that Africa was impressed with her performance. She told Biggie that she wishes to be a professional choreographer following the Big Brother experience.

Alusa said that he thought they'd be in 2 houses but the house is cool. He'd like to throw himself to the deep end, put out his talents and discover more. He was happy with the voice coaching in the morning and will take advantage of all the people brought to help them and so far they are all getting along well.

Ellah complained about a headache that she has had since yesterday. She told Biggie that she felt her performance was alright and that her focus is to make Uganda and the whole of Africa proud. Resa told Biggie that she was happy to be in the house but found that the bedroom was particularly crowded. She told Big Brother that she was set on developing herself as a brand, doing events management and radio.

Frankie told Biggie that he believes his performance was spectacular. He also shared that he was passionate about children and wanted to do something to impact their lives. Macky2 simply and confidently said that he is well-spoken enough to be loved by Africa.

Nhlanhla expressed himself to Biggie and told him that he was certain that he would make it far in the show with reliable fans that will keep him in. He said that currently, the audience is confused about who the real Nhlanhla is but assured Biggie that this week they will learn more about him. Butterphly said that she was not happy about her score yesterday and added that she will work harder to present something better. Arthur convinced Biggie that he would use his wit to get ahead and get votes.

JJ told Biggie that he enjoys being in the house and the live show performance was an amazing experience. This time is different from the emerald house because they are playing for the money and can be voted out. There are many housemates who are amazing and he gets along with all of them. He agreed with the 100% wager for the task, they are positive about it and they hope to enjoy themselves.

Which housemate do you believe will win the hearts of the voters and stick it through to the end?

Diary Sessions: All Pleased With Laveda's HoH Win

In the first round of today's diary sessions with Biggie, there was a general consensus between the 11 housemates, that Laveda deserved her win of becoming the Head of House. They all agree that she is talented and shared an unanticipated skill.

Big Brother was interested in specifically finding out how the housemates have been settling in and feeling about the house. He was also interested in knowing who individual housemates were developing friendly relations with.

First up in the diary room was the saxophonist herself, Laveda. She admitted to Biggie that she was feeling overwhelmed by her responsibilities but quickly added, "in a good way". Sipe shared that her and Resa were getting close and had clicked yesterday when they met. She also told Biggie that she was disappointed with the 54% that the audience awarded her for her performance.

Sheillah said that she was thrilled about being in the house. She told Biggie that she finds it easier to relate with Tayo as he is as free-spirited as she is. She also shared that she hopes the Big Brother experience will give her a life in the spotlight. Tayo was next and easily exclaimed that he believes he couldn't have done any better on the launch show. He said he likes the vibe that they share with Ester and is also happy with all the housemates.

Permithias revealed that he could have done better in his performance. He told Biggie about the "Summer Jam Boy Band" which is made up of himself, JJ and Kacey Moore. They all play guitar and jam. Mira told Biggie that Africa must not mistake her for a shy girl. She said that she was just very nervous during her performance last night.

Luis said that being in the house felt different and that he is happy about the new experience of being amongst animated and talented people. He told Biggie that he loved it even though he feels out of his zone. Esther told Biggie that she was disappointed in herself as she had hoped to receive 90% from the audience rating.

Lillian wishes that she had chosen to present something different. She told Biggie that she is getting close with Luis for no specified reason. Big Brother responded with, "Mhh, we will wait and see". Mr. 265 followed Lillian into the diary room and sat down to let Biggie know that he believes to have given the audience something different that Africa was not expecting and went on to appreciate Biggie for the comfortable and beautiful house. He said that he has recently become close with Ellah since she has fallen sick and has discovered that they click.

Sabina made it clear to Biggie that she wasn't in the house to blend in; she said that she was there to stand out. Nothing less.

How do you feel about what the housemates shared with Biggie in their diary sessions? Do you agree with the general consensus around Laveda's win?
