Frankie Has No Goitse On His Mind Yet!

For those who thought that the Frankie-Goitse talks will result into a romantic thing, you have to sit, think and pray again! Apparently, it is confirmed from the horse’s mouth  that there will be no nothing. 

 

During his diary session this afternoon, when asked  about his relationship with the female housemates and if he has  any romantic feelings for any, Frankie said that he is not into anything at the moment. He explained that he  was in a 6 years relationship which he called off and  he is not ready to open up to anyone again.” I don’t think I can  open up to any of these girls because I can’t give them 100% of me,” Frankie told Biggie. He added that  when  he  is a relationship he gives the whole of him to the person he loves, physically, emotionally and everything.

 

There has been gist all over online platforms that Frankie and Goitse might be developing a thing basing on the flirting conversations they have been sharing. Basing on Frankie’s words, there is  nothing going on with him with anyone in the house. However, he said that being out of the relationship doesn’t mean that he has no feelings for the females in the house……Basing on that, and putting in mind that, anything can happen in the Big Brother house, and also that Goitse likes mature men, something might show up, just keep your hopes high.

JJ & Sheillah fight!

JJ‘s team is at again, fighting each other instead of concentrating on the task at hand just like the other team. In the late afternoon, JJ as HoH and ‘leader’ of his team (A), tried getting members to work because according to him, immunity was at stake yet some people were not carrying their weight. 

 

As if JJ’s suggestion was that bad, a giggling Sheillah said that she didn’t care about the immunity and wanted to have fun. This got to JJ who said that unless everyone carried their weight, their wouldn’t be any fun and thus they would be putting their immunity at stake.
 

After observing for a while and probably realizing that the little fight would go on for sometime, ‘peace-maker’ Kacey told the pair that the Extravaganza was meant as entertainment value and they were meant to have fun but everyone needed to play a part.
 

JJ wondered why Sheillah was being inconsiderate especially when everyone would gain if the team won tomorrow.
 

With the Halloween party on this evening, one wonders whether housemates will even remember about tomorrow when they’ve to present what they’ve been up this since Wednesday bearing in mind that there’s definitely going to be lots to drink.

Moving on with Laveda

After being evicted from the Big Brother house last Sunday, Laveda feels that the reason she was voted out is because she was such a strong contestant and the other housemates were afraid of being outshone by her. She was most surprised by Luis nominating her as she felt close to him in the house and hopes it wasn’t personal. 
 

The Tanzanian lass has a lot of music out already and plans to promote her music as much as she can now that she has a larger platform thanks to her stay in Big Brothers house, she says she’s planning on making so much music so that Africa doesn’t forget her anytime soon.
 

She hopes that the relationship between her and Permithias continues even outside of the house as she “always hope for good things to happen, but I do not know how things will transpire in the house now that I have left.” She is, however philosphical and maintains a fatalistic view-point about it and is fully aware that he might have been playing the game with her and will see what happens after the game as it “is what it is.” She does hope he stays to the end however she is backing Frankie to win the ultimate prize.
 

Laveda stressed that while in he house,she was herself and wouldn’t do anything differently on the outside.

Alusa still riding high

Kenya is finally out of Big Brother Africa contest after Melvin Alusa became the first male housemate and second Kenyan to be evicted from Big Brother Hotshots on Sunday. Alusa’s departure means that there are no more Kenyan housemates left to compete for the $300,000 (about Sh30 million) prize, after his compatriot Sabina Anyango left last week. 

 

What really hurts is how on the coldest and most brutal cutting of Big Brother Africa, Alusa was unceremoniously told to leave the house. He was sent out after an emotional farewell, with Goitse throwing her arms around him. On a brighter note, the entertaining and vocal father of three will be going home to his children, “I guess I will see my kids on Wednesday,” he said. Africa will miss him, but with a personality like Alusa’s and a strong intellect, Africa will be hearing a lot more from this talented man.
 

It also seems that Africa wasn’t feeling Tanzania’s Laveda. Together with her saxophone, they were shown the door. Laveda is the sixth female housemate to leave the house. During the Friday night party, Laveda blacked out, making herself a nuisance before housemates and Africa. Could this be the reason she was evicted? Probably yes.
 

Meanwhile, Ellah, the only Ugandan housemate survived for the third week in a row, making it to the fourth week after her team won Extravaganza. She was seen hugging Tayo just to show how excited she was. In other related news, Ugandan Big Brother representative Esther Akankwasa, who was recently evicted just after two weeks in the house, has no kind words for singer Bebe Cool. See also: The Kenyan editor who ‘massacres’ stories for a living Bebe Cool had earlier labelled Esther as a Karaoke dancer who was embarrassing Uganda, and urged Ugandans to instead vote for Ellah who was also up for possible eviction.
 

Esther, who arrived in the country on Thursday night, seemed to be angered by Bebe Cool’s remarks, and while addressing the press, revealed that she is more famous than Bebe Cool as she is now known across the continent. “No one in the house knew Bebe Cool. A 43-year-old man who brings negative energy to whoever wants to prosper is not really a man. He is only known for impregnating young girls and cheating on his wife,” said an angry Esther.

Patoranking to perform on Big Brother Africa

This Sunday sees Nigeria take to the Big Brother Africa stage with Nigerian reggae and dancehall singer and songwriter Patoranking. The 24-year-old started his musical career working with artists such as XProject, Konga, Slam and Reggie Rockstone. In 2010 he signed a record deal with Igberaga Records, releasing the track “Up in D Club”. He also worked under the label Dem Mama Records, before signing with Foston Musik earlier this year.

 

His full name is Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, and he acquired his stage name Patoranking from a Jamaican artist he met in Lagos. His background includes a performing arts’ career as a street jam and carnival dancer and his influences span from Buju Banton and Fela Kuti to Lucky Dube and Chaka Demus. He describes his music as a morally inclined variation of dancehall.

 

In 2012, Patoranking released the single "Iya Bisi". Featuring Qdot and Kbaj, who helped compose the song, it is a fusion of dancehall and Fuji.  The following year he released the song, and its music video, "Alubarika". The song translates to "God's Blessings" and features vocals from Timaya. The song was a springboard for establishing a fan base and working with renowned musicians.

 

This year he released the song "Girlie O", the music video being shot in London and directed by Moe Musa. A few months later he did a remix which features Tiwa Savage. Earlier this year, he won awards at the City People Entertainment Awards and the Nigeria Entertainment Awards. With a couple of nominations for the upcoming Channel O Music Video Awards, for Most Gifted Newcomer and Most Gifted Ragga Dancehall, it has certainly been a good year for Patoranking.

Frankie & Permithias talk Tayo

After having a relaxed early afternoon all to themselves, Frankie and Permithias got dirty as they discussed the current state of affairs in Tayo‘s game and life in the Big Brother house. the duo  talked about the Nigerian’s temper with Frankie saying that he now spoke to him on a different level adding that Tayo’s power in the house had reduced after the evictions of Lilian and Esther ‘Small pepper’.

 

 Permithias also revealed that he was at odds with Tayo, Frankie advised him to confront him so that they talk over things. 

 

Shortly after, housemates were asked to make their way to the garden where Frankie found country man Arthur and confided in him that he’s falling for Goitse. “I think I’m falling for this chic,” he said. The little Botswana girl lapped up the attention, snuggling up behind him on his seat.
 

Seems like Tayo has become the talk of town lately but as long as housemates do their best to iron out their differences, it’s all good after all there’s hardly a community with more than 1 person without altercations, misunderstandings, tension and all, the most important thing is how the differences are sorted and not allowed to bring about bad blood.

Dissecting JJ-Butterphly standoff

JJ continues to prove that he’s the ‘control freak’ housemates have labelled and some of his Team A members are not happy with the way he’s handling matters in their team. Just like the previous few weeks which were characterized by power struggles especially in teams he belonged to, the same spirit seems to be back and haunting Team A. 

 

According Butterphly, JJ is at it again trying do all the work in the team and thus leaving them redundant and useless. Even when he assigns someone work, it’s interesting to find out that he’s already through with the same piece and thus doesn’t welcome any ideas.
 

Yesterday, Team A members had agreed on who would be doing what and Butterphly was tasked with coming up with their team’s introduction something she was eager to come up with, to her surprise, JJ was already through with it and didn’t allow her to share what she’d come up with.
 

This morning, Butterphly took the back seat and didn’t take part in the team’s preps, this forced the boys; Idris, Luis, Kacey and Mr.265 to talk about the whole scenario because it was affecting the team’s performance.
 

Idris said that JJ treated Butterphly’s ideas with disrespect while Luis and Kacey reasoned that everyone should be given a chance and ideas should be welcome for the betterment of the team. Mr.265 said that for the good of the team, members had to be on the same path.
 

We know JJ is multi-talented by the earlier he allowed other members to contribute towards the team the better for their Extravaganza.

Hotshots’ hairstyles, it is for attention?

For the past few weeks, we’ve seen housemates going an extra mile to look a little different especially when it comes to their hairstyles. The likes of Sheillah took the initiative and went bald last week, Tayo shaves the sides of his head and Ma’m Bea helps him with turning his top hair into locks, as for Luis he has the weirdest hairstyle according to Frankie. 

 

It’s actually not only Frankie who has an opinion on housemates’ varying hairstyles. Sipe shared with Big Brother that people who were changing their hairstyle were doing it for attention. “It’s for attention. People are desperate to look different each day,” she reasoned.
 

Asked on how she stands out from the rest, the Malawian hair dresser said that she didn’t need to change her hair style over time because her personality is enough to help her stand out. “My fashion sense and personality make me stand out from the rest,” she revealed.
 

Not that we are trying to bash her claims but change is not bad as long as it brings confidence and happiness to whoever is yearning for it.
 

Which housemate has a better hairstyle?

Butterphly Mad At JJ!

Butterphly was very upset when JJ dismissed her work, telling her that they would not use it in their Extravaganza performance. Whilst making his way to the diary room , JJ was heard saying that he had completed the script and the songs to go with it. His team-mates were not to worry about a thing! 

 

During a group meeting, JJ had assigned Butterphly the task to write the introduction to their performance. On their next meeting, JJ told Butterphly that they would not use her piece as he had already written something down. She retreated in silence and went to sit outside on her own, fuming from the dismissal.

 

Mr. 265 caught up with her and had a word with her. Calming her down, he advised her not to be upset over the whole situation but to rather confront JJ and express how she felt. Luis soon joined them outside and he told Butterphly that he would defend her as he felt that they had to bring up the issue. The two guys decided that they would accompany Butterphly to JJ in order to have the issue resolved because they were also unhappy about it.

The three went to the bedroom and settled down to address the head of house. It seemed as though they had all over-reacted as JJ did not create any issue over using Butterphly’s material and actually encouraged her to write what she felt would work. 

 

He did however apologise for making her feel the way she did. All was well and the evening turned out to be a pleasant one.

The Night Dancers

Macky2 and Trezagah both requested in the diary room that Biggie play their own music, as well as JJ’s, Kacey Moore’s and Frankie’s. 
 
The guys had made this request before and Biggie had said he would see what he could do. Unexpectedly, late in the night, Biggie played some music and to the surprise of the artists in the house, their music was played. 

 

JJ’s song played and he was very excited to hear it. He jumped out of bed and danced in front of the mirror non-stop. Butterphly, Luisand Idris joined him all four had a jolly good time, taking turns in the mirror. Outside, the gents were having a good time of their own.

 

Tayo and Frankie danced to the music and enjoyed every bit of it! The two guys unleashed some serious dance moves that we wonder if they could take up choreography. Watch them here:

 

Biggie certainly uplifted the mood in the house as Kacey Moore’s song came on and later a song by Trezagah’s group from home. More African tunes were planned, accompanied by even more dancing!

And Trezagah Gets A Massage!

As  everything was happening in the house,  people realising that they had gone for the wrong one, Trezagah was  getting a Mam Bea treat. Yesterday afternoon Mam scuicidely decided give Trezagah a massage which he was craving for. 

 

For the first time in the Big Brother house, we saw a very professional and non-seductive massage  and Trezagah seemed to have  enjoyed it that it sent him to deep sleep.

 

 Hope everyone can imagine what magic those soft hands can do to a  manly body.If there any massage that you can consider genuinely free with strings attached, count this as one because Trezagah has no intentions of chasing any girl in the house.

Earlier on it was JJ in his dream come true as  he receieved the    same treat from his biggest crush. It is no secret that Samantha is JJ’s dream girls as he has confessed it several times and made several attempts to the South African sister. 
 
Having his body rubbed by “his mostbeautiful hands in the Big Brother house”, it was a dream come true.

A back rub for JJ

Yesterday morning shortly after taking part in an intense stretching exercise in the garden, housemates looked worn out as they slowly crawled back into the house and either showered or rested on their beds to recuperate. 

 

While in the bedroom, a seemingly tired  JJ lay his bed chatting up with Permithias and Samantha. JJ who’d wrapped only a  towel around his waist later convinced Samantha to give him a back massage to which the South African beauty obliged.
 

With her ‘magical hands’, at some point JJ seemed to be lost in ‘paradise’ and most probably didn’t want the little session to end, as she went about the back rub, the pair talked in hashed tones and Permithias who was also lying near by seemed to be enjoying the moment as well or was he reminiscing the good old days with ex-Hotshot Laveda?
 

With the little tension that has been reported to be existing between these two, we hope the massage does the magic.

Is It Becoming A Boys’ Camp?

It is pretty much disheartening to watch six ladies leave the Big Brother House when the men are comfortably enjoying Biggie’s fancy house and its environment. 
 

The last time I checked out the voting community, I realized ladies do vote more than the men. Basing on that, I happen to ask” Are ladies not supporting fellow ladies or it turned the other way round and men took over?” We saw, Mira, Resa, Lilian, Esther, Sabina and Laveda as the first six ladies to be kicked out of the house not until Alusa (who I still believe was a mistake) joined the queue as a compensation.

 

Alright, for the ladies out their voting, We understand that it is pleasant and eye candy as you look at  Luis’  6 packs and the other guys’ abs but for us the straight guys out here, we’ll be like walking to a gay party….That’s if we continue to see more ladies getting evicted.

 

 Honestly, the rate at which women are being evicted from the Hotshots, it looks like the battle will be between men which is 150% unfair! Thank God that this week we only have one lady among men which means that there are high chances that a testosterone might leave this week.

 

I still wonder how  guys survived in the first week when all housemates  were up for eviction. Thanks to Tayo who saw it that the house was becoming a Boys’ camp  thus put up Alusa who ended up packing even though I personally still wanted his loudness.

 

This week, Sheillah is up against six other guys; Arthur, Frankie, Kacey, Luis, Macky2 and Mr.265….

‘JJ affected my game’ – Samantha

In as much as flirting is fun, it’s sometimes taken seriously by one of the parties and when things don’t turn out as expected, tensions arise as drama unfolds thereafter. 

 

This is the kind of scenario that seems to have befallen our very own Hotshots Samantha and JJ. Samantha shared with Biggie during her diary last evening that JJ had affected her game because he wanted something serious with her yet she thought they were just playing and having fun.
 
 “JJ affected my game. We are not cool and have not spoken for sometime. Kacey told me that JJ told him that I was giving him a cold shoulder which he didn’t deserve,” she said.
 

Samantha seems to have found solace in Idris‘ company and this has rubbed off on JJ the wrong way as he keeps on giving the pair “that look” whenever he spots them together. 
 
Idris however said that he feels Samantha likes JJ though she’s put him in a friend zone. “She really cares about him. She’s put him in a friend zone,” he said.
 

Idris and Samantha also seem to have developed a liking for each other as revealed by Idris recently: ” I’m close to Samantha. We like each other. We are just friends. JJ likes Samantha and is giving us that look.”
 

By the look of things seems there’s a couple on the horizon but one wonders which one it is, JJ-Samantha or Idris-Samantha?

Macky2 AND Sipe Getting Close

The creative spirit was still alive in the housemates as they gathered in the bedroom writing and sharing poetry. Kacey Moore, Ellah, Luis,Butterphly, Goitse and Arthur started a poetry writers’ club and poured out their emotions penned in creative verse.

Arthur’s poem hinged on his worry about the evictions on Sunday and was titled “If tomorrow comes”. Luis shyly admitted that he was new to poetry before reading his work. Kacey Moore good-naturedly teased him: “Is it about somebody that we know?” implying that his poem was about Mira, which of course it was  He grinned bashfully, before professing that this was the kind of writing he wanted to do. He said the club was teaching him a lot about rhyming and writing.

Kacey Moore also wrote a poem and dispensed advice to his fellow poets about the different forms of poetry and taught them about the Scottish poet, Robert Burns as well as American rapper 2Pac who had a message in his rapping that he was pushing and people did not pick up on until much later.

Ellah, who said she did not write a lot, had nevertheless written a poem before she came into the house which she wanted to share with the others. The poem focused on thanking God for where she was in life. Goitse had also shared her poem and there’s no doubt that they had shared deep emotions with one another. Sipe was still in search of someone to write her love song, and she caught up to Macky2, asking him to help her out. They cosied up on the couch, and he put pen to paper. The enigmatic Macky2 revealed that he was a realist and not a romantic, telling Sipe he did not believe in fantasy. He had a lot of good advice to give her about music genres and songwriting, but fans were more interested in what was possibly developing between the two.

It’s The Lovers’ Time

The romance between Nhlanhla and Sheillah was most certainly blooming as they started talking about marriage and joking that they would give speeches at one another’s weddings. 

 

Sheillah said that if she had to give a speech at his wedding she would say that Nhlanhla was a great guy with vision in his life and that his philosophical views would save the marriage, finishing off with: “continue being the good guy that you are.” Nhlanhla said his speech would depend on what side of the table he was on.

Continuing on the note of love, Sipe sat down with Goitse and Permithias and said she wanted him to help her write a song, but he told her she needed an idea before they could write one. She decided she wanted to write about love at first sight, and he teased her that she was in love with him.

 

 Luis joined them looking reflective, the topic probably making him think about his precious Mira and the song he had composed for her. Permithias then started getting very affectionate with Goitse, as he leaned over her and nuzzled her neck. It was a good thing Idris did not spot them, but perhaps his mind was on Samantha anyway.

Kacey Moore and Ellah were together once again, chatting about showering naked or not. She said she had stripped all the way from her first day. Showering naked just made her feel cleaner than having to wash herself in her underwear, and she emphasised that she was not doing it for entertainment value.

 

Other housemates were feeling sleepy and Tayo hit the sack early, while Trezagah hoped to get a massage from one of the ladies before going to bed.

Back To The Winning Spree

It was a moment filled with suspense, but the housemates delivered a successful task presentation winning another 100% wager, and they definitely needed it after the blow of last week’s loss. 

 

The Hotshots had been tasked with creating a stomp performance with a specific look and feel and including instruments they had made themselves and used to create an original score. Moments before they began, there was talk of last-minute changes, but luckily they realised it was too late and they had to stick to what they had prepared.

 

The dramatic lighting and insistent drumming set pulses racing and adrenaline pumping, as the housemates set up the stage for their performance. They were called into the lounge one last time, before heading back to the stage to remind Africa why they were Hotshots.

 

The Green Team got things going with great rhythm and rapping. Considering the odd objects they had to use for instruments, they did a fantastic job, with Trezagah impressing everyone with his rap. But they really worked together as a team making sure everyone had a chance to shine.

 

The Pink Team’s stomp was introduced by Samantha‘s solo, followed by impassioned beating and chanting from the rest. It was an intense performance, filled with lots of energy.

 

The housemates certainly displayed creativity and diversity in the two different performances and it did a lot to lift their spirits, boosted even further by their win. What did you think of their performances?

Idris-Samantha, love brewing?

Interestingly, love (or are we over exaggerating?) is something that can never be forced as it just happens to people when it’s least expected. It’s also a coincidence that initially, Idris was interested in Goitse but she never returned the love, the same thing seems to have happened to JJ who likes Samantha to bits but she’s made it clear that she’s not interested.

 

 It turns out that Idris and Samantha like each other in a way and the former has not shied away from sharing with Biggie how he feels about the South African beauty though she’s always referring to him as her ‘little brother’. 

 

The ‘sister-brother’ relationship now seems to be standing at another stage basing on the way they’ve been cuddling and sharing a bed. Hey, siblings do share a bed and cuddle and it’s normal but seems the pair could be cooking up something for Africa.
 

Initially, the two did not spend much time together and Samantha was never as passionate about Idris as she is now. The South African lady quickly became preoccupied in the second week of the show, initially as the head of house.
 
In the third week, she was seen allowing more time for herself and Idris to talk and bond. Things have since escalated as the two have been seen cuddling on each other’s beds and on the house, they clearly enjoy each others company.
 

Seems like a love triangle is in pipeline but we could be wrong, however, let time be the judge in this case.

Well, if it is still early for you as the viewers and  voters, Trezagah already has his potential five finalists. When asked  by Big Brother this afternoon during his diary session for the people he  thinks that will make  it to the top 5, the Mozambican rapper named  Tayo, Macky, Nhlanhlan, Sheila and Mr. 265! Oooops, where is Trezagah’s name on the list? Maybe he doesn’t  see himself as a potential contender or perhaps  he’s still in the  vacation mode not thinking about the game.

 

Trezagah said  that the reason why he sees the above people in the top five list  is simply because, they are the most lively  and active housemates  in the house. He however said that he too is going to continue being himself and play his game without any strategy.

 

Well, basing on how Africa  votes, I’d say there  is still more time to tell  who will make it to the top five but I’ll still respect Trezagah’s opinion because that’s how he sees things from his own point of view?

Tayo at it again

Reigning HoH JJ has been perceived as a ‘control freak’ even before he won the coveted HoH crown and it seems his leadership skills and techniques are rubbing up on some housemates the wrong way. Ever since he took over from Nhlanhla on Monday, JJ has been involved in all the activities in the house not mentioning rehearsals for various tasks. 

 

However, his perceived ordering around of other housemates have gotten to Tayo who vented out his frustrations to Ma’m Bea, Frankie and Permithias. According to Tayo, JJ wants to do rehearsals from time to time without giving them enough time to rest.
 

“I know what am doing. I know what my Medulla Obulongata is doing. Everyone knows what they’re doing. I don’t want to run around. It doesn’t mean that when we are sitting here we are useless. We are getting to know each other. I don’t want anybody to order me around. Are you mad?” he angrily vented. The outspoken Nigerian lad also shared that after having his rest he’d return to his duties and obey the HoH but he needed to take it easy on them.
 

Frankie, Ma’m Bea and Permithias also agreed with him with Frankie reasoning that they won two Wagers with Laveda and Samantha but as Sheriffs, they didn’t pester housemates like JJ is doing. Ma’m Bea who fondly calls Tayo his son said that he’d talk to JJ and probably suggest to him on how to go about his duties.
 

Ma’m Bea implored Tayo to calm down and the others cracked jokes with him, after a while, he was back to his usual self and cracked more jokes  with them.
 

Hopefully, housemates don’t waste lots of time in fights as this may put their Wager on the line or are the mad?

Task: Getting The Stompers’ Look

In light of the performance of Wednesday’s task, Biggie gave housemates (both teams) all necessary props to ensure that they were more than enabled to produce a satisfactory performance of their task. At the end of the day, it was up to the housemates to make sure that they gave the task their all as they again wagered a 100%, despite a loss of the wager last week. The hotshots were clearly confident! 

 

Biggie issued out word through head of house, JJ, and told the housemates that they were provided with additional props for the evening performance. He reminded the housemates that Stomp performers had a certain look about them. He told them that they should start thinking about how they would make sure that they looked the part in the evening.

 

In the storeroom, Biggie had provided items that the teams would use for their performances. He told them that the stage would be set up in the garden and that housemates would be given sufficient time prior to the presentation to assemble their instruments on stage. JJ reiterated in the note from Biggie that they were expected to give the 100% that was wagered on Monday morning.

 

And with that said, Housemates headed to the store room and picked out the items they would use. Hotshots gravitated to their individual teams and work on the evening’s performance began.

Is JJ Being Too Hard On Idris?

If you haven’t realized by now, today is really slow unless you want to read about child molesters and people shooting others in South Africa. I’m not down with that. However, I am pretty down with JJ‘s treat for  Idris. We all know that JJ likes Samantha to death, we again know that Idris and Samantha are so close and JJ thinks they have a thing, we also know that JJ is the current HOH, We still know that yesterday Idris was punished to do all the house chores under the command of HOH! Now chaos comes in when someone’s biggest crush is spending most of her time with the punished boy. 

 

For 48 hours JJ is to blow a whistle to get Idris to work but  he is using the situation to get at Idris and get him away from Samantha. The bad line of the story is that Samantha enjoys spending  most of her time with the criminal and she helps him with the punishment! hehe, this is not doing good for JJ who wants her time.

 

Last night it was hard for JJ. He said that Samantha and Idris are trying to make him look bad to the rest of the housemates.Talking to other housemates, JJ said that he found  the duo talking about him and they think he  is being too hard on Idris. This came after he had told Idris to put water in the jacuzzi but Samantha told him that he   was only to do the house work. JJ also told the housemates that Biggie  had called him  earlier and told him that he wasn’t whistling enough and that Idris had to do the punishment without the help of any housemate.

 

JJ’s  problem is not Samantha helping Idris, but it is that Samantha doesn’t give him  enough time as JJ! He talked about going to bed last night  expecting Samantha to give  him some care like ” how are you, are you tired”, such things but  she was busy  talking to Idris on his bed which rubbed him the wrong way. He added that what made him angry was that he chilled waiting in his bed to see if Samantha would go there but she instead went to her bed, wished everyone a good night with a hug except him! hehe, we just have to pray for Idris as he might face it rough.

Hotshots urged to act

Actor/director Clint Brick’s presence in Big Brother house is all about equipping housemates with acting skills and it seems they are always anxious to learn a thing or two from the experienced actor. This morning, he dropped by, made his himself comfortable in the lounge as he waited for the sleepy heads to join him. He grabbed a cup of coffee and placed printed pieces on the table. Among the first one to come down was Sheillah who seems to have grown a liking for Clint as she sat near him. 

 

He shared that in as much as some actors go to school to acquire acting skills, anybody was able to act as long someone developed a liking for the art. Clint soon introduced the housemates to the printed copies which were scripts of different scenes. Housemates were instructed to get into pairs and pick a scene to work on, any that they would be comfortable with. We were grateful to have Butterphly finally join the group – she dragged herself to the table and lazily pulled a chair out. The Zimbabwean radio presenter loves her sleep!
 

Clint taught the housemates how to dissect a scene by using the five “w’s” – who, when, where, when and why. He said that these would help in perfectly contextualizing a scene and the characters within that scene.
 

Permithias and Kacey took a demonstration and Clint seemed convinced with their act up. The housemates were evidently enjoying the session but it had to come to an end as Biggie called Clint to the store room.

17:00 The green team start working on a dance and the pink team gather around their drums to start working on a dance. Tayo is called into the diary room. He is missing home a lot this week.

16:42  Housemates gather in the living room, Big Brother reminds them that there is a crafted dance routine for tonight's performance.

16:22  Mr.265 is in the diary room. He likes honest people. "Big up to the Big Brother experience" he is loving the time in the house.

16:13  Butterphly is doing well, or so she tells Biggie. She talks about the long standing thing between Mr.265 and her, she broke down a bit this morning.

16:10  Kacey Moore talks about staying grounded and his wife and daughter.

15:55  Sheillah talks about tolerance, acceptance and then friendship. She talks about her friendships in the house. She chats about her and Nhlanhla flirting with each other.

15:49  Trezagah feels there is a lot of pressure in the house and how people have changed.

15:34  Samantha discusses peoples personalities in the house, She discusses the Goitse, Idris and Permithias situation. She says that people are definitely playing their game. She also discusses her relationship with JJ.

15:29  "A tired looking Macky 2 in the diary room today." Macky 2 says that they are prepared for the wage task tonight.

15:22  Sipe observes that Nhlanhla keeps trying to annoy her, she chooses not to "stoop to his level." Biggie asks her about the one thing she has most learned about herself in the house. She says that she has learned to stand up for herself.

15:13  Food is served in the living room and everyone is eating, obviously starving after their practising. Idris is called into the diary room. He says that he is enjoying himself and has accepted what has happened with Goitse. "Can you say Mister Idris?"

15:05  Permithias is called back into the diary room. He says that there is a lot of tension building in the house between JJ and several housemates. He feels it has something to do with Samantha.

14:57  Permithias is in the diary room, he has to sort out his transmitter. He is sent out of the room by Biggie.

14:20  The pink team practise in the garden. Sheillah has powder on her head, a novel way to protect her newly shaved head from the sun.

14:00  Kacey and Samantha talk about how JJ is avoiding Samantha.

13:45  Nhlanhla and Sheillah discuss how Arthur likes Sipe but Sipe likes Macky 2.

13:20  Tayo, Frankie, Permithis all discuss the Head of House and leadership qualities. They are discussing potentially confronting JJ as they think he is too bossy.

13:01  Nhlanhla and Sheillah are deep in conversation, she feeds him "When I look at you, I want you here" Nhlanhla to Sheillah.

12:52  M'am Bea shaves Tayo's while Butterphly catches a few minutes nap time (again). Samantha joins them and shares some snacks with them.

12:39  Permithias cozies up to Samantha while Luis, Mr.265, Sipe and Macky 2 talk about buying tickets for an event before a party as opposed to buying it at the event.

12:10  The pink group practise their track in the garden,

12:00  Macky 2 talks about going through passport control in Australia and how he was not allowed to perform there and was sent back, not being able to perform at a concert he was booked for, he spent 48 hours in a detention centre .

11:44  Rehearsals are in full swing, Trezagah spits out some lyrics in Portuguese to the throbbing beat...

11:08  The pink team gather in the living room to discuss their look while the other team play drums and dance in the garden.

11:00  JJ calls everyone into the living room to read out a task from Big Brother. Frankie holds everyone up, they have to call him a few times. They are to open the store room to get items supplied by Biggie for their look for the presentation.

10:43  Ellah, Kacey Moore and Arthur harmonize as they practise their song for the task presentation.

10:28  JJ: "Make sure you guys wash up after you are done." JJ and Nhlanhla make breakfast, meanwhile Kacey Moore and Arthur jam in the bedroom.

10:12 Sipe exclaims that she misses Alusa who would always say that she looks beautiful. Goitse tells her to hurry up with her make-up so they can go down for breakfast.

09:55 Permithias is setting fires in the kitchen, grilling steak. Nhlanhla is making french-fries and Arthur looks on. All of this food for breakfast? It looks like the hotshots are quickly forgetting how they ran out of food last week.

09:45 Samantha made sure not to miss her quiet time. She has shared with Biggie that her quiet time brings her back to focus.

09:40 Trezagah getting his morning exercise. Go boy!

09:30 JJ says he has close to 1000 songs recorded since he was 17 yeasr old! He just hasn't released an album yet.

09:24 It looks like housemates are individualy making their own breakfast or only making for their "friends". Sheillah is making eggs and offered to make Mr. 265 some as well. Wait, did he not just finish a bowl of cornflakes?

09:08 Kacey Moore is handling breakfast this morning. Some housemates have already made themselves bowls of cornflakes, such as Idris and Mr. 265.

08:50 Housemates were enjoying the session and were sad to have it end so soon. Clint promised to extend the work done on his next return. He hugs the housemates before he leaves.
